Linkshare Affiliate Broker Site Announces “FlexLinks”

Recently Linkshare announced a new feature called “Flexlinks”. For affiliate marketers that use feeds, this is similar but much easier. When using feeds typically you need to contact the affiliate manager of the program that offers the feed and download a file that you can then upload with the most current sales, products or special offers. This manual process can be somewhat time consuming and complicated and something that has to be re-done in order to stay current.

Linkshare aka LinkSynergy is an affiliate broker site like Commission Junction or Clickbank. The have a multitude of Advertisers under their “roof” in the following areas:

Affiliate Broker - Clickbank Review

Clickbank is the largest affiliate broker of digital products such as e-books and software.  What I like about the ClickBank service is:

  • Very easy to apply and set up.  You have a single ID for all the products they offer to promote in their marketplace.
  • The ability to track where your clicks and purchases are coming from.  You are able to set up tracking links which is valuable if you are paying for advertising.
  • Various area’s of products to promote.  While it is not a huge list they do have products in the areas of Business to Business, Health & Fitness, Home & Family, Computing & Internet, Money & Employment, Marketing & Ads, Fun & Entertainment, Sports & Recreation, and Society & Culture.
  • The ability to create and have your own products hosted and sold through their service.
  • Low minimum payout. You can set your payout to a minimum of 10.00

A couple of the things that I dont like about the service is:

  •   Initially your very first payout has to meet the following rules. You must have at least 5 purchases with different credit cards which must include at least one Visa and one MasterCard charge.
  • Your account balance will roll until you meet this rule no matter what your minimum payout is.
  • If you do not have any sales for 3 months consecutively they deduct 1.00 per month thereafter until you meet the initial payout rule or minimum payout.
  • Payout is only by check.

Overall this is a good broker site for digital products.
